This is an all-encompassing document that entails every detail of the COVID-19 ranging from the outbreak, the rate of its incidence and the preventive measures to the action plan of the government. It narrates the epidemiology of the COVID-19 at length and the strategies on how to control it. Going forward, it has recommended for a large scale expansion (5 times) of public health service & medical service to be done immediately on a war footing with allocation of about 5% of GDP, and to increase the capacity at the state and district levels to respond to the current pandemic and also similar public health emergencies in future.
